The UN Human Rights Commission has requested proof from the UAE that Princess Latifa, the daughter of the Emir of Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is still alive. This was reported by Sky News.
This is due to the fact that the princess has disappeared, and since the summer of last year, the media can not find out anything about her.
World leaders, including British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, have requested information about the monarch's well-being. After that, the United Nations intervened.
The UN committee said that it raised the relevant issue at the UAE mission in Geneva.
Latifa tried to escape from the UAE in February 2018. After an escape attempt, she was captured by commandos off the coast of India. The princess was forcibly returned home. After reports of her capture, nothing was heard about the daughter of the Emir of Dubai. The UAE Foreign Ministry said she was at home with her family.
