South Korea to purchase additional 23 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine
The South Korean government has reached an agreement to purchase additional doses of coronavirus vaccines sufficient to vaccinate 23 million people. This was reported by the Renhap agency with reference to the country's Prime Minister Jong Se Geng.
To vaccinate 20 million people, a drug from the American company Novavax is being purchased, for 3 million вЂ” from Pfizer, the agency said.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea, 83,869 people have been infected, 1,527 people have died from coronavirus-related diseases.
