WHO: many people experience post-COVID syndrome after illness
People who have had COVID-19 may subsequently experience the so-called post-COVID syndrome. There can be many such people.
This was reported by the World Health Organization.
As noted, this syndrome can be observed both in patients with a mild form of COVID-19 and with a severe one.
Earlier, WHO warned of the threat of re-infection with new strains of coronavirus. WHO is now receiving reports from South Africa of people being re-infected with new variants of the coronavirus.
We will remind you, the World Health Organization called on the developed countries to slow down the mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus. The organization is asked to suspend the process so that the drug would be enough for less wealthy states.
