American arrested for threatening the president
In the United States, a court charged the man with threats to the president вЂ” 27-year-old David Kyle Reeves from North Carolina repeatedly called the White House and threatened to behead Joe Biden.

According to a criminal complaint published by a federal court in North Carolina, the defendant was detained for knowingly and intentionally threatening to kill and injure the president.
From January 28 to February 1, Reeves called the White House and threatened President Biden and other members of the administration, according to the prosecutor.
In one of these calls, the man said that he was going to вЂњkill everyoneвЂќ and вЂњchop off your heads.вЂќ After that, Reeves was contacted by a Secret Service agent.
Later, Reeves also called the agent several times during the day and threatened him, the president, and others. He also claimed that he was only using his freedom of speech and вЂњdid nothing wrong.вЂќ
On February 11, a federal judge left the accused in custody. Reeves is now being held in the Mecklenburg County Jail. He pleads not guilty and has already passed a psychiatric examination.
