Biden's position on the nuclear deal with Iran revealed
White House spokesman Jen Psaki revealed US President Joe Biden's position on the Iran nuclear deal.
“In general, his position has remained exactly what it was: if Iran fully fulfills its obligations under the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action), the United States will do the same, and then will use it as a platform to create more a broad and lasting agreement, ”said Psaki.
In January 2020, Iran announced the rejection of the agreements on the JCPOA. In early May 2018, former US President Donald Trump announced Washington's unilateral withdrawal from the deal and the resumption of anti-Iranian sanctions.
The JCPOA agreement on Iran was concluded in the summer of 2015 between Tehran and six intermediary countries — Russia, the United States, Great Britain, China, France, Germany.
