Trump does not intend to attend his impeachment hearing in person
Former President of the United States Donald Trump does not plan to personally attend his impeachment hearing before the Senate. Testimony in his defense, he can provide in writing.

Reportedly, Trump's defense team is joined by attorney Joshua Howard, who worked at the Justice Department and investigated the case of the 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky.
In addition, Trump's lead impeachment attorney Butch Bowers is expected to add at least one more defender to the team, possibly a constitutional expert.
Meanwhile, according to NBC News, Trump, while in Florida, is keeping a close eye on Republicans' impeachment speech.
