Trump hires a new lawyer to defend against impeachment
Former US President Donald Trump has hired South Carolina lawyer Butch Bowers to represent him in the Senate in the impeachment case.
It is reported by Reuters, citing sources.
Bowers represented former Republican governors in South Carolina and worked for the US Department of Justice under former Republican President George W. Bush.
On several occasions, Butch Bowers has represented governors in court.
South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsay Graham, a Trump ally, recommended Bowers, the source said.
At the same time, in the United States, a group of lawyers is demanding to revoke the license of the lawyer of the ex-President of the United States, Donald Trump, Rudolph Giuliani.
We also wrote earlier that Trump ordered his assistants to stop paying lawyer Rudy Giuliani's fees.
Rudolph Giuliani also called false statements that he asked for his own pardon from the president or receiving a reward for seeking it for others.
