
The new U.S. President Joe Biden spoke about the message of his predecessor Donald Trump.
According to him, the previous head of the White House left a “magnanimous” letter. However, Biden preferred not to disclose the content of the message.
The American leader signed a number of executive orders. In particular, Biden ordered that masks and social distancing be required in federal buildings and on federal property, and ordered federal employees and contract workers to wear them.
In addition, Biden rescinded the border emergency regime that had allowed the Donald Trump administration to divert funds from the budgets of various agencies, particularly the Pentagon.
Biden also lifted restrictions on entry into the U.S. from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, and Iraq, also known as the “Muslim Ban.
In addition, Joseph Biden signed an executive order to return the U.S. to the Paris climate agreement. He appointed ex-Secretary of State John Kerry, who had been heavily involved in the Paris Agreement, as special advisor on climate issues.
