One of Britain's richest billionaires dies




In Britain, billionaire David Barkley died, he was one of the richest men in the country, writes The Daily Telegraph.





Barkley was 86 years old and passed away as a result of a short illness. Together with his brother Frederick, he owned The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, and The Spectator magazine. Their fortune is estimated at $4.3 billion. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has already expressed condolences on the death of the Barkleys.

In the 1960s, the brothers were engaged in repairing premises, as well as renting out real estate. However, they were able to get rich thanks to the retail and hotel business.

Earlier it became known that in the United States in the 88th year of life died billionaire owner of casinos in Las Vegas and Macau Sheldon Adelson, who was called the “purse” of incumbent President Donald Trump. Adelson's fortune is estimated at $35 billion.
