Barkley was 86 years old and passed away as a result of a short illness. Together with his brother Frederick, he owned The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, and The Spectator magazine. Their fortune is estimated at $4.3 billion. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has already expressed condolences on the death of the Barkleys.
