Participants in the storming of the Capitol in the United States were taken into custody. This was reported by the press service of the US Department of Justice on Sunday, January 10.
Among those arrested is Jacob Anthony Chansley, who broke into Congress with a painted face, a fur hat, and horns. He was taken into custody on charges that include forced entry and disorderly conduct.
Also, detained was a man from Florida, photographed as he carried the chair of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi from the building. It turned out to be 36-year-old Adam Johnson, who is accused, among other things, of embezzlement of state property and forced entry.
Finally, among the defendants is West Virginia lawmaker Derrick Evans, who posted a video of himself standing outside a building with Trump fans on the Internet and then walking inside.
Earlier we wrote that a pickup with 11 bombs and weapons was found near the Capitol. The car belongs to a 70-year-old American who was charged with possession of unregistered firearms.
We add that those who stormed the Capitol are fired from their jobs. At least three people lost their jobs due to participation in the storming of the Capitol. They were identified by photos and videos from the scene. There are also Russian speakers among the detainees.
