The document grants unlimited powers to the largest technology companies, the head of the White House believes.
US President Donald Trump called the actions of the Senate of Congress void, which overcame his veto and adopted the defense budget for the 2021 fiscal year. The American leader published the corresponding message on Friday, January 1, on Twitter.
“Our Republican Senate just missed an opportunity to get rid of Section 230, which grants unlimited powers to the largest tech companies. Nothing!” — wrote Trump.
He also criticized the Senate for not approving a bill to increase payments to Americans in a pandemic from $600 to $2,000.
“Now they want to give the people devastated by the Chinese virus $600, not the $2,000 they so desperately need. It's not fair and unwise!” the American leader added.

Recall that for the first time during Trump's presidency, both chambers of the American Congress were able to overcome his veto — when adopting the 2021 defense budget.
As reported, the head of the White House considers the aforementioned document a “gift to China and Russia,” since, in his opinion, it does not include important provisions of the US national security.
