Speaking with a New Year's address to the nation, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said when she intends to get vaccinated against coronavirus.
“Today, vaccines are one of the symbols of hope for 2021 ... Every day more and more people are vaccinated ... I will also be vaccinated when it is my turn within the age and professional groups,” the Chancellor said.
