Trump has not signed the law on aid in connection with the pandemic

US President Donald Trump has not signed a bill providing Americans with a coronavirus relief package, CNN reports.

The bill passed by the US Congress provided the government with an additional 2.3 trillion dollars, of which 892 billion were to go to fight the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the extension of the ban on evictions from rented housing due to non-payment.

Trump said he was not happy with the amount of aid provided by the bill.

“I just want to get our wonderful people $2,000, not the pitiful $600 that is now written into the law,” — Trump tweeted.

To change the bill or overcome the presidential veto, Congressmen will have to interrupt the holiday break and return to Washington.

Earlier, the US President vetoed the military budget bill.
