Amid allegations of domestic violence made against Shia LaBeouf by singer FKA twigs, streaming service Netflix has removed the actor from For Your Consideration for his role in Fragments of a Woman. This means that LaBeouf will not be able to qualify for Oscars and other cinematic awards. The 34-year-old actor has also been removed from the synopsis of the film and the list of its creators that Netflix has nominated for awards.
Recall that the 32-year-old FKA twigs how LaBeouf kept a firearm in her bedroom so she wouldn't go anywhere, tried to strangle her, and deliberately contracted an STD. The lawsuit, which the singer filed, also involves Carolyn Faux, another of Shia's lovers. Carolyn has accused LaBeouf of smashing her head while intoxicated. Girls singer Sia, calling LaBeouf a "pathological liar" and accusing him of tricking her into a sexual relationship.
The FKA twigs side was also directed by Alma Harel, who starred the singer and Labaf in Sweet Boy. LaBeouf wrote the film's script, inspired by her own past history of substance abuse and a series of legal problems. "Like many of Shia's associates and fans, I am painfully aware of my investment in his recovery. Nothing should justify, minimize or rationalize domestic violence," Harel said in a statement.
Shia himself doesn't seem too concerned about the allegations against him. The actor was the other day in the company of his new lover, 26-year-old actress Margaret Cuello. The pair passionately kissed in front of everyone, not paying attention to passersby.
