Seven people were injured in a car hitting Black Lives Matter (BLM) demonstrators in New York. On Wednesday, December 11, The Sun reports.
The incident in the Manhattan area took place after 4 pm local time. The car crashed into a crowd of protesters who were allegedly defending the starving inmates in a New Jersey prison.

According to law enforcement officers, the demonstrators came out onto the roadway and surrounded the car, which eventually drove into the crowd. All victims will be taken to hospitals, they received non-life-threatening injuries.
It is noted that a woman was driving the car; she was taken to the local police station for interrogation. There is no information yet about whether she will be charged. It is known that several protesters were also detained.
The city's police department on Twitter has asked city residents to avoid the area, an investigation is underway.
