Google has taken another step toward meeting users. Soon, users will be able to limit the display of alcohol and gambling advertisements on the company's services.
The first such service will be YouTube. On the Google Ad Settings page, there will soon be a new section at the very bottom, allowing you to choose to reduce ad impressions for certain categories on YouTube. Among these categories are alcohol and gambling ads. This setting can be canceled at any time.
Users in the United States will be the first to have this opportunity to restrict certain types of ads on YouTube. An international launch is expected in early 2021.
