An F-16 Fighting Falcon from the Wisconsin Air National Guard unit crashed during a training flight on Tuesday evening near the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This is reported by the National Guard of the state on the Facebook page on Wednesday, December 9
вЂњWhen the incident occurred, the plane was performing routine training with one pilot on board,вЂќ the report said, noting that nothing is yet known about the pilot's condition and the causes of the accident.
Emergency services are at the scene. The incident is being investigated.
Recall that in July, two F-16 fighters crashed in the United States. One of them crashed while landing at an airbase in New Mexico on July 13. Then the pilot ejected and survived.
And on July 1, an F-16 crashed while performing a training flight at an air force base in South Carolina. The pilot was killed.
