Washington plans to impose sanctions on about 14 Chinese officials over Beijing's actions in Hong Kong. This was announced on Monday, December 7, by Reuters.
It is noted that officials from China, including members of the National People's Congress (parliament of the PRC) and the Chinese Communist Party, may be included in the “black” list.
Restrictive measures may come into force today.
We will remind, earlier, China imposed sanctions against 11 US politicians. This decision affected Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz and several other American politicians.
