Erdogan: Macron is a burden for France

The Turkish president criticized his French colleague. Macron did not answer him the same.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reacted sharply to France, which adopted a resolution calling for the recognition of the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, writes Anadolu on Friday, December 4.

“Macron is a burden for France. Macron and France are going through a very dangerous period... I hope that France will get rid of the problem in the form of the Macron as soon as possible,” Erdogan said.

Besides, the President of Turkey, following the President of Azerbaijan, urged to give the French Marseille to the Armenians.

“If you love Armenians so much, give them Marseille. I support that proposal,” Erdogan said.

In his turn, Macron did not respond to the Turkish president's words.

“I believe in respect. Insults between political leaders are not the right method,” Macron told Brut.
