London to offer homeless people a two-week hotel stay for Christmas
London homeless people will be able to spend two weeks in a hotel on Christmas Eve. For guests will prepare 517 rooms in city hotels. Reported by The Sunday Times.
People without a fixed abode will be offered three meals a day with delivery to their room, they will have access to medical assistance. In addition, on Christmas night, the screens will show performances of the stars.
This year, due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus, charities will not be able to accept homeless people in dorms, as they have been for 50 years in a row. Therefore, the London Hotel Group agreed to provide them with reduced rates.
