Washington gave another week for the sale of TikTok
The Committee on Foreign Investment of the U.S. agreed to defer until December 4 day ban on TikTok, reports Reuters. For this period the company ByteDance, which owns the application, must sell the U.S. segment of the business.
Earlier Wall Street Journal pointed out that the ban on TikTok in the U.S. can not be implemented, while the courts are considering cases in this regard.
U.S. authorities have repeatedly pointed out that this application allows the Chinese intelligence services to monitor American citizens.
