In addition, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who served as Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs under Biden, has been appointed Permanent Representative of the United States to the UN. She will become the second black woman in this position after Susan Rice.

Jake Sullivan, a former adviser to the US secretary of state for foreign policy, has been appointed adviser to the president for national security.

We will remind, last week Joe Biden named the names of other members of the future administration: the director of political affairs in the office of the first lady, the secretary of the White House for protocol issues, and the director of the White House administration for personnel affairs.
