Iran has developed test systems for rapid diagnosis of coronavirus
Iranian innovative companies have developed rapid diagnostic test systems for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This was announced on Friday by Hossein Watanpour, Director General of the Office for the Development of Medical Technologies under the Ministry of Health of Iran, IRNA reports.
According to him, new test systems for the rapid detection of coronavirus, developed by Iranian scientists as soon as possible, will receive the necessary approvals from the Food and Drug Administration.
He added that the new test systems help in initial patient identification and can be used to diagnose disease.
According to the latest data from the Iranian Ministry of Health, as of November 13, the number of people infected with COVID-19 reached 738 322 people, 40 582 patients died.
