The US Department of Justice has received the right to receive money from the sale of the autobiographical book of a former CIA officer Edward Snowden Permanent Record ("Personal File"), according to The Washington Post with reference to the court.
The lawsuit is related to the disclosure of information that was classified by the US Department of Defense. The court agreed that the book was published in violation of the non-disclosure obligation. Fugitive American lawyers have already stated that they do not agree with the verdict and intend to appeal it.
