Trump reacted to Biden's victory in the US presidential election




US presidential candidate Donald Trump said his colleague Joe Biden was quick to call himself the country's new leader. The elections are not over yet, and the headquarters will defend their positions, the Republican stressed, reports Reuters.





With this statement, he reacted to the publication in the media of the preliminary election results, according to which Joe Biden received 273 out of the required 270 electoral votes, thereby ensuring his victory.

“I will not rest until the American people have received the honest account they deserve,” Trump said.

In turn, Biden also made a statement, he thanked voters for their trust. “After the end of the campaign, it's time to leave the anger and harsh rhetoric behind and unite as a nation,” said the Democrat.

Biden will become the 46th President of the United States. At the end of November, he will turn 78 years old, he will be the oldest American leader, wrote CNN.
