Apple has released a significant update to the Apple Music app for Android devices.
With the release of iOS 14, the Apple Music iPhone app has a new Listen Now tab with editorial and recommended content, improved search, autoplay, and more. All these functions are now available in the Android version of the app.
However, there is one innovation that Apple Music for iOS is missing — neither on the iPhone nor on the iPad. The fact is that the new version of Apple Music numbered 3.4 for Android has a function of a smooth transition from one song to another. When you enable it in the application settings, the volume of the next song gradually increases simultaneously with the attenuation of the previous song. The user can customize the duration of this transition period — up to 12 seconds.
A similar feature is already available in Apple Music for macOS. According to the release notes, Apple Music for Android also received Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat Stories exports, as well as improved app performance.
