Trump is confident that the ceasefire between Yerevan and Baku is respected

Trump's opinion sounded against the backdrop of reports from Yerevan and Baku about violations by the enemy of the ceasefire regime.

US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that the agreement on the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh between Armenia and Azerbaijan, reached the day before with the mediation of Washington, is not violated. This was announced on Monday, October 26, by the press service of the White House.

On Sunday, the US State Department issued a joint statement by the US, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, which said that the parties to the conflict would return to a ceasefire at 8:00 local time on Monday. The document was adopted following the meeting, which took place the day before, between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov with the US First Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Bigan.

Nevertheless, almost immediately after the onset of the regime, the parties began to accuse each other of violating it.
