T-72M1 and BMP-2 tanks were spotted along the Iranian-Nagorno-Karabakh border.
Maltese military analyst Babak Tagway announced this on Twitter.
The journalist noted that the Iranian army held military exercises in Shiraz two days ago. The journalist suggested that this may indicate that the country is preparing to create a buffer zone in Nagorno-Karabakh.
As you know, clashes between the Azerbaijani and Armenian forces continue in the areas adjacent to the border with Iran. In the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, Iran supports Azerbaijan, the Iranian volunteers expressed their readiness to help the Azerbaijani side if it turns to the Islamic Republic.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the Azerbaijani armed forces took control of the settlements of Zilanli, Kurd Makhryzly, Muganli, Alagurshag in the Gubadli region; Dolinar and Bunyadli in the Khojavend region; Dag Tumas, Nusus, Khelefli, Minbashili, Visalli in the Jabrayil region; Vanadli and Mirzagasanli in Zangilan region.
