Coca-Cola intends to reduce the number of its brands by 50%
The American Coca-Cola Corporation announced plans to reduce the number of its brands by 50% (to 200). This is stated in the company’s statement on the website.
The company did not specify which specific brands it plans to abandon, but it is noted that Coca-Cola will gradually withdraw from the production of some products, including Zico and Tab.
According to CNN, the corporation is likely to cut the brands of beverages produced in a number of US states.
