More than 22 million Americans voted ahead of schedule

Elections in the United States will take place only on November 3, but millions of people have already taken part in them through the early voting procedure.

In the United States, more than 22 million people have already voted early in the elections. The calculations were posted on the United States Elections Project by Florida State University professor Michael McDonald on Friday, October 16.

According to the portal, 22.138 million people have already voted ahead of schedule in the United States, compared with 14.208 million citizens on October 14, although the elections will take place only on November 3.

Most of the voters cast their votes early in Texas. 2.44 million Americans have already voted there. They are followed by the states of California (2.382 million), Florida (2.274 million), and Michigan (1.3 million).

At the same time, more than 1.293 million and 911 thousand Americans made their choice in New Jersey and Minnesota, respectively.

Recall that earlier Biden promised to admit defeat if he loses the election. Joe Biden also criticized Donald Trump, who earlier refused to confirm that he agreed to peacefully transfer power.
