The youngest son of U.S. President Donald Trump, 14-year-old Barron, had a coronavirus. This was announced by First Lady Melanie Trump in her statement published on the White House website.
The son of the American leader suffered from COVID-19 asymptomatically.
“Fortunately, he is a strong teenager, he has no symptoms,” said Melanie Trump. According to her, her son was diagnosed with coronavirus after the diagnosis was confirmed in her and Trump's case. “To some extent, I was glad that we all went through this at the same time because we could take care of each other and spend time together,” she explained.
Trump's wife said that later the teenager took another coronavirus test, which was negative.
Also, Melanie Trump said she had been cured of coronavirus and her COVID-19 test results were negative.
Trump's infection with coronavirus became known on the morning of October 2. His wife Melanie also had a positive test. A few days later antibodies to infection were found in the president. On October 11 American leader reported that he was cured of coronavirus and received immunity.
