Note that “sea trains” are called convoys of unmanned long-distance vessels, the main task of which is army supply. In turn, Gibbs & Cox specialists already have some experience in the design of such vessels, Naval News reports.

The publication also states that the first phase of the shipyard's work was estimated at $9.5 million. Note that under the contract, Gibbs & Cox will create a full-fledged prototype of a mid-range robotic platform for transoceanic crossings.
