The US plans to disinfect stadiums with drones
In many countries around the world, there is talk of a second wave of coronavirus. Despite this, the United States plans to host games in the framework of the National Football League (NFL). And in order for spectators to have the least chance of contracting COVID-19, it was decided to disinfect the stadiums using drones for these purposes.
The first such playground will be the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, writes Engadget. At the same time, for such a responsible task, the D1 drones, which were manufactured by Lucid Drone Technologies, were chosen.
The drones will handle completely different surfaces: seats, handrails, and glass partitions. At the same time, experts say that the decision to use drones for these purposes is a great idea. According to them, they can significantly reduce the disinfection time, as well as significantly increase the effectiveness of this procedure.
