The United States introduced payment for goods by scanning the palm of the hand
The American company Amazon has introduced a device for paying for goods at the checkout by scanning the palm of your hand. The technology is available at the company's two stores in Seattle, Washington.
The features of the surface of the client's palm are associated with the credit card number. A technology called Amazon One does all this. The company said it will select some of its stores without physical Amazon Go sellers where the new product will be used.
To sign up for Amazon One, you insert your credit card into the device and then slide your hand over it. The system will remember and save the credit card number, as well as the drawing of the palm surface. In the future, it will be possible to pay with one palm.
As already mentioned, so far this procedure can be done only in two stores of the company. More points Amazon will equip in the coming months.
