The billionaire wanted a man he trusts in the White House
During the 2016 election campaign, President of the United States Donald Trump wanted to make his daughter Ivanka Vice President of the United States, because he did not trust the Republicans. But the daughter ruined her father's plans.
This, as reported by Bloomberg, is stated in the book of the former deputy head of the Trump campaign headquarters Rick Gates.
According to Gates, Trump wanted to see someone he could completely trust as vice president. He repeatedly discussed the candidacy of Ivanka with his advisers: “she is smart, she is beautiful, and people will love her.”
As Gates writes in his book, Trump insisted on the candidacy of his daughter until Ivanka herself turned down his offer.
As you know, Michael Pence became the Vice President of the United States in 2016.
We will remind you, the next presidential elections in the United States will be held on November 3.
