Possible cause of An-26 crash near Kharkiv named
A source in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine named the possible reason for the An-26 crash near Kharkiv.
According to the source, the aircraft had engine failure. It is noted that the pilot, shortly before the crash, reported on the radio about problems with this part of the aircraft.
The plane crash became known on September 25. The command of the Air Force of Ukraine confirmed the disaster.
The aircraft crashed at a distance of two kilometers from the military airport, after which it caught fire. The plane was carrying military pilots and cadets of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Force named after Ivan Kozhedub. According to the latest data, 22 people died.
