Recently, 37-year-olds Kate Middleton and Prince William returned with their children from their country residence in Anmer Hall, Norfolk, where they had been quarantining since early spring at Kensington Palace. Today the Duchess of Cambridge held her first video meeting from London for a long time.
From the very morning, she called on Zoom with several specialists, who support the parents of thousands of families in the UK. They told Kate how their methodology helps in the upbringing of children and helps maintain the psychological health of babies.
William and I heard how important your support is for many families — it is a real lifeline for them. Thank you very much to your team and the volunteer communities across the country,
— Kate expressed her gratitude during the video call.
Immediately after that, the Duchess went to another meeting with volunteers — now on a real, not virtual one. Kate came to London Buttersy Park to see volunteers who help parents from many families with practical advice on parenting and emotional support.
For her next day out on a sunny and warm summer day, Kate chose Marks & Spencer's coral-colored pants, which had previously appeared in public, a white Ralph Lauren T-shirt, and comfortable sneakers matching the tone. The image of the Duchess was complemented by a pendant on the neck, on which the initials of her three children are engraved, and the traditional styling — light curls.
During a walk in the park, Kate talked to volunteers, as well as representatives of families who turn to them for help. Especially touching was the meeting of the Duchess with one of the kids — she immediately tried to make the child laugh.
During the conversation with the volunteers, Kate Middleton found out how the Coronavirus pandemic had a negative impact on their ability to provide timely assistance to parents. Volunteers also spoke about positive things, such as the fact that Buttery Park has become a great place for their psychological counseling during the pandemic.
