Twitter considered Trump's message about voting by mail misinformation
The warning about possible misinformation was added to the next message of U.S. President Donald Trump by the Twitter administration on September 17 on the page of the head of state.
Trump again criticized mail-order voting in the November 3 presidential election. In response, the social network security service marked the message as containing conflicting information.
“We marked this 'tweet' because it probably contains a misleading statement about voting by mail,” the Twitter administration said.
Earlier, Trump said that voting on the ballots sent to voters could lead to the wrong counting of votes in the upcoming elections.
On his page, the U.S. head of state said that “the results of this year's elections, which will be held on November 3, maybe incorrectly counted. This is what some people want”.
