Hezbollah is recognized as a terrorist organization in Canada, the U.S., Israel, Egypt, Britain, Australia, and several Arab countries.
Belgrade's intention to recognize Hezbollah's Shiite movement as a terrorist organization is the right move by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. This was announced on Sunday, September 13, by U.S. State Department head Mike Pompeo on Twitter.
“Serbia's announcement that it will add Hezbollah in its entirety to the (“blacklist”) will help further limit the ability of this terrorist organization to raise funds and act in the region. A great step from Vucic's side,” the secretary of state said.

Hezbollah is a paramilitary Lebanese party whose main idea was to create an Islamic state in Lebanon. It has the support of Syria and Iran both in terms of funding and weapons.
The group is recognized as a terrorist organization in countries such as Canada, the U.S., Israel, Egypt, Britain, and Australia, as well as in the Gulf States and the Arab League.
Hezbollah's “blacklisting” was one of the topics of the negotiations in Washington between Serbia and Kosovo that led to the signing of the agreement by their leaders, with the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump.
