Trump discussed the situation in the Middle East with the King of Saudi Arabia
US President Donald Trump discussed with the King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud a settlement in the Middle East in light of the agreement to normalize relations between Israel and the UAE. The American leader announced this to reporters on Thursday at a press conference in the White House.
“Next week at the White House we will have the signing [of the agreement] between the UAE and Israel, and other countries can join in. And I will tell you that countries that want to participate are lining up,” he argued.
“So you will see that other countries will join in a fairly short time. And it will be possible to achieve peace in the Middle East. I think that eventually a sufficiently large number of countries will join and they will join, I spoke with the King of Saudi Arabia. So negotiations are underway, we have just started a dialogue and they will participate, “added Trump.
Earlier, the White House announced that Trump would receive representatives of the leadership of Israel and the UAE in Washington on September 15 to hold a ceremony to sign an agreement on the full normalization of relations between the two countries.
