The number of victims of wildfires in California has grown to 11 people
At least three people were killed on Wednesday due to a wildfire in California in the United States, the Sheriff of Butte County (California) said. The total number of victims of the natural disaster increased to 11.
The agency noted that the fire endangered thousands of homes. According to the Governor of California Gavin Newsom, the total area of wildfires this year has increased to about 930.7 thousand hectares. The Associated Press claims that this figure was the highest in the history of California. The last anti-record was observed in 2018 — approximately 793.2 thousand hectares.
