US Senate to vote on COVID-19 bill
According to media reports citing Republican Senator Mitch McConnell, the US Senate will vote on the adoption of a bill on measures to combat the consequences of COVID-19.
It is clarified that this draft law provides for the allocation of an additional $500 billion from the country's budget. 60 votes will be required to pass the law, but the document will not receive such support due to the strong opposition of the Democrats, the media said. Thus, Senators Charles Schumer and Nancy Pelosi previously said that the Republican bill is a failure.
