In France, they began to produce protective masks made of hemp
The French company Geochanvre has begun producing hemp fiber protective masks against coronavirus. They are biodegradable, which means they do not harm nature, like ordinary masks.
The filtering capacity of hemp masks is 89%. From the inside, they are covered with a thin layer of fabric so as not to rub the face.
The hemp fabric has allowed manufacturers to eliminate glue and other sticky liquids. In production, only local raw materials are used, which also reduces the burden on the environment.
