The explosion of chlorine cylinders in Iran injures 230 people
Presumably, the explosion could have been caused by chlorine cylinders in the back of a truck.
At least 230 people were poisoned by the explosion of a chlorine cylinder in western Iran. This was announced on Friday, September 4, by Mehr agency.
“The general condition of all people, except for six people with asthma, is assessed as favorable, and one person is hospitalized in the intensive care unit,” said Mojtaba Khaledi, a spokesman for Iranian emergency services.
The incident is reported to have taken place in the Chardwal area of Ilam province. According to the agency, chlorine cylinders were in the back of a truck. During transportation, one of the cylinders exploded for unknown reasons.
Rescue services are working in the area, no information about the victims has been received.
