Palestine extended emergency regime for 30 days due to coronavirus
The state of emergency in the fight against coronavirus has been extended for a month in all Palestinian territories. The corresponding decree, as reported by the WAFA agency, was signed on Friday by the President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas.
вЂњPresident Mahmoud Abbas issued a presidential decree in which he declared a state of emergency in the Palestinian territories for another 30 days, starting September 4,вЂќ вЂ” said in his message.
According to the authorities, to date, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the Palestinian territories has reached almost 33 thousand, over 22.3 thousand have recovered, 192 patients have died. Over the past day alone, more than 800 new cases were identified, three died.
