US President Donald Trump's team spent $64.7 million on political campaign ads on Google, YouTube video hosting, and other related platforms.
This is evidenced by data posted on Tuesday on the website Google Transparency Report.
Since May 31, 2018, the Trump Make America Great Again Committee and its campaign headquarters, Donald Trump for President, spent $37.23 and $27.49 million, respectively, that is, in the amount of $64.7 million, more than Bloomberg, who spent $62.19 million in 2020.
For their part, two organizations of the Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden вЂ” Biden for President and the Biden Victory Fund вЂ” spent a total of $32.58 million on advertising on these platforms.
As noted in this regard, the Bloomberg news agency, Trump's campaign headquarters successfully used targeted political advertising on the Internet during the 2016 election campaign, and during the current campaign acquires ads on YouTube video hosting, including for the period immediately before voting day on November 3.
The upcoming November 3 US general election will elect a president and vice president, 35 senators, all 435 members of the House of Representatives, 13 state and territory governors, and local governments.
