Presidential adviser and former mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani accuses the Democrats of having declared war on the police.
“U.S. Democrat-run cities are showing record increases in crime because, in fact, the criminals have received permission for violence from Democrat mayors. Being a policeman is a risky job. The Democratic Party has declared war on the police. — Giuliani said in an interview on Sinclair Broadcasting.
Giuliani's comments followed the riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after police used weapons to apprehend Jacob Blake.
Giuliani criticized Blake's movement, calling it “an internal terrorist group” and “a Marxist organization” that “must be brought to justice.
He also criticized the Democrats for not raising the issue of the unrest that is taking place in many of the country's major cities during the party's National Congress.
