Adam Schiff, chairman of the intelligence committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, spoke out against a special services officer who filed a complaint about Trump’s telephone conversation with Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky at a hearing on impeachment of President Donald Trump. This is stated in the letter of the legislator published by CNN.

This is a US intelligence officer, his name was not disclosed. To invite this employee to the hearing earlier suggested a senior Republican in the special intelligence committee of the House of Representatives Devin Nunez.

Schiff said that he considered the performance of the said employee “redundant and inappropriate,” since he had previously provided all the information he had.

“In the light of threats from the president, the performance of this person in front of us will only put him at serious risk,” Schiff states in his letter.

Nunez also proposed inviting Hunter Biden, who is the son of former US Vice President Joseph Biden, and a number of other persons to Congress. Excerpts from a letter from Schiff published by CNN do not say whether he agrees to this. Nunez said on Saturday night in an interview with Fox News that he had not yet received a positive response from Schiff.

Earlier, we wrote that the son of the US president named the informant. It turned out to be a CIA agent who had close contacts with the entourage of former US President Barack Obama.
