The head of the World Trade Organization Roberto Azevedo is leaving the post ahead of schedule. It is reported by The Economist on Monday, August 31.
Further, Azevedo will work for Pepsi.
So far, the WTO member countries have not yet agreed on the appointment of an acting head of the organization.
Note that the 62-year-old Brazilian has served as head of the WTO since September 2013, and his second four-year term began in September 2017.
