So the French prosecutor's office launched an investigation against the lieutenant colonel of the Armed Forces in connection with the suspicion of transferring important information to the Russian special services. A corresponding procedure was initiated against him since the Ministry of the Armed Forces initiated an appeal to the prosecutorвЂ™s office,вЂќ she stated.
She added that only the judicial system will be able to confirm the motives of the soldier's actions and determine the elements of a possible crime.
